Easy money?

Easy money is money someone gives you and you don't have to do anything to earn it. If your favourite aunts dies and leaves you a fortune that is certainly easy money.
Another source of easy money would be having made a wise investment, early on in your life, and then reaping the benefits. For example investing in the right company at the right time could set you up for life. Particularly if it was your own company and you created it in such a way that it would make money for you whether you were working every day or not.
I suppose the easiest money is the money you win when you gamble. But then isn't everything a gamble? having an online businesses is certainly a gamble. It might work, it might not. Although as with any gamble there are things you can do to turn the odds in your favour, and one of the ways you can do that is to test every page put up to see if it is doing what you want it to do.

I suppose by easy money we mean money that comes without having to work too hard for it. The next question then... is the Internet a place to make easy money?
The answer is, of course... Yes and no!

It is possible and not too difficult to set up a system on the Internet whereby you earn money without having to do any work. You had to set up the system and get the system right. But once the system is set up, there is nothing you have to do to keep the money rolling in. That's pretty easy money!. The trouble is you have to set up the system in the first place, and you have to get it right or it won't work.
The Internet can be a great source of easy money, but it is a mistake to believe that getting the system that creates easy money up and running is easy. Setting up your Internet moneymaking system will involve you in some hard work, some persistence, some effort and some investment, but the results can be spectacular. And once your successful moneymaking system is up and running, you can be earning very easy money indeed. Your system will be working for you 24/7, and you'll be waking up in the morning to check your bank account on the Internet and discovering that your system was making money while you slept... and there can't be much easier money than that!

Business Online or Offline?

The basic principles of business apply. Doesn't matter if the business is online or in an office.

  • Find out what people want,
  • Give it to them
  • Bank the money!

What the Internet has done though is to make that whole process easier, cheaper and more accessible than ever before. You can set up your online business with less than a hundred bucks, be your own vice president and mailroom clerk, and be making the kind of money previously only possible with huge investment and a full complement of staff.

Everything is possible. Ordinary people are making amazing profits from Ebooks, websites, affiliate marketing and digital downloads.
But here's the catch....there’s no such thing as a free lunch.

The people who make it work are the people who work at it!

“There's no business like Show Business!”

Internet Business IS show business.

How you appear to your potential buyers is everything, and when you're marketing a product online, presentation and customer perception have a direct effect on the money you make.

People buy from people they trust.

Unless you're selling a product that already has its own reputation, and you're selling it more cheaply than your competitors (eg. A Sony laptop on Nokia phone) customers have to buy on trust. Will the product do what is promised? How much of a risk is it to buy from this particular website?

Trust me: I'm an Internet Marketeer!

If you're selling online you need to show your potential customers that it's OK to do business with you. And building that buyer/seller relationship becomes even more important the larger the amount of money involved. Which is why email marketing to a subscriber list is such an effective way to sell. It allows you to build a relationship with your potential customers, a valuable relationship if want to make sales.

People who need people!

Every email you send to your list presents you and your product. An idea forms in your customers mind as to whether or not you're someone to trust. And the number one most effective way to establish that relationship is a PERSONAL email answering a question. With a genuine relationship established, your 'Showbiz' credentials are established and sales will be the inevitable result!

Working from Home? It's the Online Business future!

There is doom and gloom all round. The banking system has collapsed, house prices are falling, jobs are insecure, and it seems that a revolution in the way we earn our livings is long overdue.

It's an attractive thought, isn't it? Staggering out of bed in our pyjamas, sipping ourselves awake with a home brewed espresso, settling down in front of a computer screen and beginning the day's work without the hassle of commuting. But is it really possible to work at home and earn the kind of money you could expect by getting in your car or hopping on a train to spend those long hours in an office block in the city?

The world is changing. It seems we can no longer rely on a job for life. It seems that putting our faith in others to take care of us in our old-age would be a mistake. The downside of these changes is a feeling of insecurity about the future. But the upside is that for those people who are prepared to grab the opportunities that these changes present, a whole new world of work is opening up.

Is setting up a virtual business online so very different from starting up a business in the real world? You still need to sell something, or provide a service. You still need to find your customers. You need to communicate with your customers and find ways to solve their problems.

Perhaps the biggest change in recent years has been the power of the consumer to exercise his or her choice, which means the business environment has become more competitive. But it is in this area of customer contact and customer care that the one man or one woman business working from home via a broadband connection, can perform so much more effectively than a large organisation. Particularly a large company that uses general impersonal and formula driven communication, designed to deal with every customer situation, and in reality, failing to address individual customer needs.

When the Internet first developed, it was thought to be an organ of mass communication. And indeed it can be used to communicate one message to vast numbers of people, but for the small business person starting up on their own with a laptop from a kitchen table, the Internet provides the opportunity to find the exact customers you're looking for, and then to communicate with them on an individual basis. The Internet's most important function as a sales tool is that it enables you to establish trust, and to build up a rapport with targeted customs. The old adage is true. People buy from people, but the Internet enables you to contact more and more of the kind of people you want to do business with and allow you to communicate with them from the comfort of your own home.
